2 Billion Gas Project in Abu Dhabi The recent investment decision by Abu Dhabi's national oil company, ADNOC, to develop the Umm Shaif Gas Cap project is a strategic move to boost gas exports and capitalize on growing global demand for natural gas.
As part of its integrated gas strategy, ADNOC aims to unlock over 600 million standard cubic feet per day (scfd) of natural gas and associated gas liquids, equivalent to almost 10% of the UAE's current daily gas consumption.
