Foxtel Ups Prices 10 Days After Announcing Record NRL Deal Foxtel has raised prices for its subscription TV packages just 10 days after announcing a record breaking NRL deal, sparking concerns about the company's commitment to affordability.
The price hike will see Foxtel Plus and Platinum Plus subscribers paying an additional $5 per month from September 1.
The new seven year deal with the NRL is set to begin in 2028 and will cost Foxtel around $520 million annually, significantly more than its contribution to the previous rights agreement.
