Ceasefire in Name Only: Lebanon's South Endures Israeli Aggression The Lebanese state's announcement that four civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on Monday has highlighted the disregard for human life in the south of the country.
The incident occurred in Nabatieh al Fawqa, where a school principal, her mother, a foreign domestic worker, and a Syrian male laborer – all innocent civilians – were caught in the crossfire.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the strike targeted an area that has seen numerous Israeli airstrikes despite a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah last month.
